Seaside Heights Fire Department volunteers protect lives and property in our community, on our boardwalk and beaches, and in the Atlantic Ocean and Barnegat Bay.

It takes a unique and dynamic set of skills to provide fire & rescue services to those who live, work, and play in this special place.

We were founded in 1913 – the same year as Seaside Heights Borough. The population gets larger, the buildings get taller, and the volunteers of Seaside Heights Fire Department adapt fast and train hard so we are ALWAYS ready to respond.
